When Alice Springs mother of five Fiona O’Loughlin started doing stand-up later in life than most comics, her hilarious stories of housewifery and motherhood were an immediate hit. She’s been enjoying sell-out seasons on the festival circuit ever since. In 2006 she took home the Piece of Wood, an MICF award for funniest show as voted for by other comics. The Nelson Twins are one of the most unique stand up comedy acts in the world. Raised in rural New South Wales, they have been performing as a duo for the past 6 years. From their humble beginnings in 2006, the twins have fast become one of the most sort after double acts in Australia, dazzling corporate and club crowds alike with their cheeky humour.

Their big bush ranger beards and cracking one liner jokes are just a part of an amazing act never before seen on the comedy circuit. The boys are constantly bickering amongst themselves on stage and are never afraid to tackle a comment from an audience member.
They have won several comedy awards in their short career and shown their versatility by performing to sold out audiences in Edinburgh during the 2010 Fringe Festival.

Their TV credits include Australia's Got Talent, The Footy Show, NBC's Last Comic Standing, 2010 Australian IQ Test and a host of TV commercials. In addition, the twins are regular guests on local radio stations offering their opinions on a range of topics from sibling rivalry to the war in Afghanistan.

As well as being talented actors and comedians the boys have put their writing skills to good use and formulated a curriculum based program for secondary schools. Their ability to adapt material to young and older audiences makes them a ‘must see’ for your next event.

These fellas are destined to be household names – they’ve got wit, intelligence and fantastic comic timing. I hate them.
- Jeff Green (International Comedian)

The Nelson Twins are a gift to the Comedy Industry. Inspiring and hilarious, one of my truly favourite acts.
- Fiona O'Loughlin (MICF Barry Award Nominee)

Comedian / Broadcaster
Tom Gleeson is one of Australia's favourite comedians. Besides his many TV appearances, he’s been nominated for a Helpmann Award twice and won the Piece of Wood Comedian’s Choice Award in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.   He has performed several times at all three major comedy festivals in Melbourne, Edinburgh and Montreal, as well as the invite-only Kilkenny Comedy Festival in Ireland.  Oh yeah, and the biggest stand up on the planet Louis CK chose Tom to be his support act for his Australian tour.

Tom has performed at the Sydney Opera House, every capital city in Australia, London, Dublin, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta as well as entertaining the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was also selected to perform yearly as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow from 2001 – 2007.

Not content with conquering stand-up, Tom has also published a book, Playing Poker with the SAS: A Comedy Tour of Iraq and Afghanistan. This follows up his story The Italian Job. It appears in Take Me With You a collection of tales of long distance love edited by Sarah MacDonald for Random House.

In 2012, Tom returned to the stage with his live stand up show Good One. He performed at Adelaide Fringe, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Perth International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Store. In 2013 he will make Australia his bitch once more with his new stage show, Hello Bitches, which is already his biggest selling tour with crowds lining up in Adelaide and Melbourne.
